Frasha explains why he does not like revealing how much he earns from Music

Published on

Kenyan artist Frasha has explained why he does not like disclosing the amount he makes from music.

Speaking to our own journalist Silvakido, Frasha said he doesn’t like being asked that question because it makes him uncomfortable simply because music is more than money.

When people ask me about money, what do they mean? For me, money is a sense of gratification.

When someone asks me how much I make from music, naskianga, that’s a very uncomfortable question because music is more than money; the sense of gratification to me from music cannot be equated to money.” Frasha said.

He, however, said he doesn’t mind fans singing his name, as that is what you’d expect from being creative, and what that actually does is motivate him because then he sees people recognize his talent.

Napenda kuona mtu akiimba lyrics zangu. Frashaaaaa ni mkali…. Hakuna kitu nataka aty nilipwe fan akiimba hivo siitaji hiyo pesa. For me, I am a creative, and for a creative, it goes way above money.” Frasha shared.

Frasha has a foundation, and the reason he decided to come up with one is because he saw a future in it, and that’s to help people reason why he opted to drop venturing into politics.

Mimi ni mtu kivyangu ndio maana niliform foundation…because nilijaribu politics na nikaona the game in politics…nikaona hakuna mahalia naeza enda hapa if I follow this route.

My foundation helps where I can, If God blesses me with a position sometime, you will see the kind of person I am.” Frasha shared.
